Played a little bit tonight, 

Entered 2x $3.30 ko 90 mans on Full Tilt

Took 1x 50c KO but exited pretty deep in with standard hands (AK

Also played the 100fpp game on Boss, and went from 1/10 at Final table to out in 10th with AK<55 and 66< AQ hmph!

Decided to play some cash instead with profit on both sites:

Full Tilt i played:

1x 6max 10c/25c and busted $10 pretty quick with AA v TT aipf

2x FR 5c/10c

1x 6max 5c/10c

Also decided to play on Boss

2x 6max 50c/1e tables

Was pretty quiet till i got it in aipf with AA v QQ v AK and i held up

So ended the day pretty much breakeven on FullTilt and +80e on Boss

Not great but ill take it

Just need to confirm with RakeBackPros that my 27% is on FullTilt, and make sure i make use of my 30%Rake on Boss (have to rake 100e minimum tho)

Once all that is done i just need to sort out how to get PT3 to display my rakeback on both sites and ill be a happy boy!!!!

This hero is now sat at the top of the money list, pretty much gaurenteed a seat in the 8 handed Sponsership race, with 2 packages available. 
Im gutted he hasnt shipped a title, as he fully deserves one now, as he has pwned this Tour.

Another New Direction

And no its not a Glee quote, dont ask how i know that!, but more of a crossroads that i am gonna breach.

Ive spent alot of my poker playing years taking shot after shot and not succeding, only to then need to cash out for personal reasons and this yo-yo effect can play on the brain.
A good friend of mine, only 2 years ago (maybe less) was doing the same until a decent score, and now has 1x Sunday Million under his belt, and has been pro for 12 months playing the $100, $200 and $300 HU sngs on Stars.  This is a life a) i want, and b) if possible for any good poker player.

Now looking at my stats on some sites you would think im a huge fish, due to my want of a big score i play well outside my roll and try to hit that big 4 figure ship and although ive had some decent runs and been close, its not happened.

I realise this, and upon reflection hate myself for doing it, i really do.

My new direction has been inspired by reading ALOT of poker literature both in the form of books and the net, researching theories etc and in conclusion i have set myself a personal Prop Bet that i believe can ( in time) allow me to grow as a player (and my roll)

The Direction is very dicsapline based and if i am serious about improving and winning i will stick to it.

Here it is:

PokerStars:
Weeks 1-3 of the month $6 HU sngs only (i crush these regulary with a 20%+ roi)
Week 4 of the month $6 HU sngs and use 20% of PROFIT to play a few mtts

Only exception is i can play the $5k gaurenteed HU mtt

Poker.co.uk
Only play mtts throughout the month, mainly the 10e rebuys with big gaurentees and a few of the others plus use all FPPs earnt in the freerolls.
Any score of 1000e +, half is to withdrawn to the poker bank account (for later use)

FullTilt Poker:
Weeks 1-3 of the month $3.30 KO 90mans (experimental atm - if it goes wrong ill play HU here too)
Week 4 the sngs with 20% of profit to play a few Deepstack Mtts (Superstack and Doublestacks)

I will also dedicate at 1 night a week to review hands etc on PT3 to fix any leaks, and use forums more regulary to get ideas, critisism and advice.

This plan is stringent till the end of the year and i hope to play the following volumes:

$6 HU on stars - 500 games by December 25th 2010
$3.30 KOs on FT - 800 games by Decemebr 25th 2010
Boss MTTs - achieve 2500e profit by December 25th 2010
